The Problem With Humid Climate

A known problem by canon with their 5D apparently is that the mirror can just fall off.  This seems to only be a problem in humid climate.  Well Alabama is pretty humid I suppose so BAM!  Hello Mr. Mirror.  I read online that some Cambodian canon owners superglued the mirror in so I did too.  But not after a long panic thinking about how I was gonna shoot the next three days.

Rusty

Took this a while back of my friend Rusty by the light of the video game machines.

James

This is a shot I took for Pine Magazine.  James Clauer is a filmmaker on the left.  The guy on the right is a homeless man who was nice enough to sit in for us.

The Vine That Ate the South

A movie I made with Andrea Paschal, Merrilee Challiss, and Chris Lawson a few years back for an art installation.

My favorite shot from today

Mike Watt

Here's another one.

going through some old photos

I found a lot of cool moments looking through a stash of old photos.  But this is one of my favorites.  Albert Maysles was in town working with my friend Arthur and I was lucky enough to be the photographer.  He was very nice and insightful.  I definitely felt a little intimidated around such a legend.
